The author clearly "gets" it. The interaction, fantasy progression, female narration make this a story a jewel in an otherwise lacking subgenre of BBW fiction.

My only complaint (and significant complaint) ...is the heavy use of cigarettes and coughing that was worked into the story. I feel that most people interested in this fantasy love seeing a woman's beauty blossom as softness and curves increase.
Losing control and giving in to food cravings is a large part of this... However I feel that the intentional and nihilistic self-destruction aspect isn't a part of the fantasy for most people, and really sours the story for people who are turned-off by smoking.

Please Jolene, write another without the smoking... I can't wait to listen!

This book has a solid start. And that's about it. With a run time of twenty-seven minutes I knew this was a short story... but it's TOO short. Even though the price was modest, I don't feel that the author should be able to charge for this.

There is very little character development and while the buildup of anticipation is fun, it doesn't really go anywhere. The descriptive writing which should paint a mental image for reader involvement is weak, at best.
As far as erotic weight gain is concerned, the "control" aspect isn't super important to me... but it seemed fairly important to the author at the beginning of the story, and is obviously key to the title. Alas, this doesn't really go anywhere either. I was hoping the girl's "control freak" nature would be more heavily laid upon the protagonist as a leverage for sexual favor, while creating a juxtaposition to her lack of control in food consumption and weight gain.

Also, as a matter of personal opinion, I feel that erotica marketed towards men is far superior when narrated by a female voice. Dialog which uses a combination of male and female is better still.

I love that there is increased interest in this genre and I applaud the author for taking the time to write it. However, there is better "free" content out there, so paying any amount of money for an Audible story should imply a higher standard for plot, editing and narration.

this is an incredibly short tail with zero character development and very little emphasis on plus size form. the author is clearly trying to make a dollar writing on a subject he doesn't understand.
