Historia
“Shy” Hunt and the tech team from McAllen Integrations thought they’d have an easy job - set up environmental systems for the brand new Hasanova Data Solutions colony, built on the abandoned ruins of a complex known as “Charybdis”. There are just two problems: The colony belongs to the Iranian state, so diplomacy is strained at best, and the complex is located above a series of hidden caves that contain deadly secrets.

Very Disappointed
Revisado: 10-20-21
I've been a part of the alien franchise since the beginning I have listened too many of the books on Audible, this one has been by far the worst one that I have ever listened to. the writing is subpar at best, the storyline little boring and, not meaning any disrespect, the narrator's range is very limited.

Good Story
Revisado: 03-12-21
Narrator was good but probably wasn't the best choice for an X-Files story. Overall I enjoyed the story, I like most things X-Files and X-Files related. This is a good story and while the narrator is good, he probably isn't the best choice for an X-Files story.

Historia
On an entirely normal, beautiful fall day in Chester's Mill, Maine, the town is inexplicably and suddenly sealed off from the rest of the world by an invisible force field. Planes crash into it and fall from the sky in flaming wreckage, a gardener's hand is severed as "the dome" comes down on it, people running errands in the neighboring town are divided from their families, and cars explode on impact. No one can fathom what this barrier is, where it came from, and when - or if - it will go away.

Great Story, Slightly Awkward Narration
Revisado: 05-18-18
Another fantastic and riveting story by Stephen King. Continuously keeping you on the edge of your seat and Mr King really knows how to bring a character to life, either making you love or hate the character. My only qualm it's not so much the narration itself but really the accents given to the characters. While set in Maine, the narrator makes most characters sound like they are from the South or Southeast, areas such as Alabama, Florida and such while other characters sound like they are completely stoned. However, this does not in any way take away from the Fantastic story written by Mr Stephen King.

In his time at Area 51, Mike Turcotte has learned one thing: We are not alone. As part of an elite Special Forces team, the former Green Beret has encountered things that are well beyond human understanding. Now, two ancient rivals from another world are vying to dominate Earth, and Mike and his team must choose which army to side with. The key to averting the crisis lies in a single weapon: Excalibur. The mythical, legendary sword of King Arthur is real and can unlock a galactic power beyond what anyone - human or alien - has ever seen. And Mike must keep it from falling into the wrong hands.

Fantastic and Exciting
Revisado: 03-13-18
I found this series by accident and really enjoyed the first book so much that I continued on. The narrator of the first three stories was fantastic, adding even more to the story itself, and drawing me in. The fourth and fifth book we're not narrated so well and I became a little discouraged but this book picks right back up with the same fantastic narration of the first three, with the narrator drawing you in with the emotion put into the lines and making you feel each character individually.

Great Book, Terrible Narrator!
Revisado: 03-08-18
Another great and fun book in this series! However, as an Audio Book, there is much left wanting. the first three books in the series were all narrated by the same person and he did a fantastic job, the fourth book was that narrated buy another gentleman that, though was not as versatile as the original narrator, still did a fairly good job. the narrator of this book, and please understand I am not trying to be too hard, was utterly terrible. his reading style is very monotone and he has no flexibility between characters and accents, everyone sounds completely identical regardless of whether the character is a man or a woman or is from a different part of the world is Russia, Africa, Asia. It also seems like there was no editing done on this book as there were too many times to count that the narrator would mess up and restart a word or an entire sentence.

Historia
Dr. Lisa Duncan and Special Forces officer Mike Turcotte know better than anyone that no secret is safe for long - especially one that offers untold power. Case in point: No sooner does Turcotte’s elite Area 51 team uncover a dormant alien ship in Earth's orbit than a group of alien-human hybrids seizes it and uses its technology to commandeer a satellite array bristling with nuclear missiles. Now they’re demanding that humankind hand over the key to an ancient stash of alien technology…or watch an entire continent be reduced to atomic rubble.

Very good but I have one qualm...
Revisado: 03-01-18
I found this book series by accident but being the slight sci-fi nerd that I am I was slightly hooked after listening to the first book. This is the fourth book in the series and I will say they are a lot of fun to listen to. the biggest issue I have with this particular book is not so much the story itself but the fact that they changed the reader of the book. the first three books were performed excellently and while this one was red fairly well, changing the person that reads the book made it very hard for me to stick with this one. also this particular reader or performer seemed Limited in his ability to perform multiple characters much less language and Regional accents. I slowly got accustomed towards the last quarter of the book but changing out the performers this for a long in the series is like changing all of the actors in a movie, it may be the same character but the actor is what gives them their personality.

Historia
This is the way the world ends: with a nanosecond of computer error in a Defense Department laboratory and a million casual contacts that form the links in a chain letter of death. And here is the bleak new world of the day after: a world stripped of its institutions and emptied of 99 percent of its people. A world in which a handful of panicky survivors choose sides - or are chosen.

Fantastic!
Revisado: 02-07-18
seen the movie many years ago and I've always been a Stephen King fan but this is one book that I've never actually read. not only is the story great, especially in its unabridged version, but the narrator of the story does a fantastic job in his delivery as well as being able to simulate multiple personalities.
