Historia
For the past 10 years I’ve been a victim. A victim to my pack. A victim to my true mate, who rejected me in the most brutal of ways. And a victim to Shadow Beast, who used me for his own gains. Or did he? The beast of mystery never reveals his whole hand, but one thing is for sure...in my time with him, I've changed. Now I will no longer walk the path dictated by the powerful men in my life. Never again will I let my strength be taken from me. I must evolve or die. And we all know, with a choice like that, there’s really only one answer.

I would have given 5 star review but I just couldn’t get into the male voice. It did not fit the character for me. That being said I am going for book three now. This IS totally a I feel loved kinda vibe, so if that typical reoccurring reassurance dialogue is not to your liking. . . Then it may not be for you. I am enjoying the twists and turns and need to see where it goes.

Mind opener!
Revisado: 04-12-17
At the root of a God is a man. A superstition, a ritual, old wives tale or a simple Covenant of the masses can manifest creatures of our own making and eventual doom. This might have been a fictional story but it totally changed my perspective on how I view relationships between humans and the gods that they worship.

A generic novel, listen when bored.
Revisado: 09-03-13
What would have made Moonlit Protector better?
I am not exactly sure what I expected from a short novel, but I truely thought there would be more depth to these characters. The whole read felt generic and predictable.
What do you think your next listen will be?
Outlander, or something by R.A. Salvatore.
How could the performance have been better?
Great stories, even short ones, need to leave the reader with a feeling that the book they just read is now a great memory. A memory that can be recalled, at will, with clarity and closeness to the charaters that can only be conveyed through the passions of good writing.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
No reaction. . . that is the problem.
Any additional comments?
I think this author's intent was to sell a book instead of creating a story. I could see paying for this short novel as a book, but not $6.00 for an audio.
