They belonged to Dr. Robert Griesinger, a lawyer from Stuttgart, who joined the S.S. and worked at the Reich's Ministry of Economics and Labor in Nazi-occupied Prague during the war.

Historia
An only child, Deborah Burns grew up in prim 1950s America in the shadow of her beautiful, unconventional, rule-breaking mother Dorothy, a red-haired beauty who looked like Rita Hayworth and skirted norms with a style and flare that made her the darling of men and women alike. Married to the son of a renowned Italian family with ties to the underworld, Dorothy fervently eschewed motherhood and domesticity, turning Deborah over to her spinster aunts to raise while she was the star of a vibrant social life.

I struggled to finish because of her pitiful sounding voice. I'm assuming the narrator was the author, otherwise I can't see audible hiring someone who reads like that!!

Jackie's Girl -- A refreshing inside perspective
Revisado: 05-31-17
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I would absolutely recommend this book. It is an honest, touching & even humorous account of Jackie's personal assistant, a young Irish girl who steps into this role one year following the death of President Kennedy. She does not however, bash Jackie or the Kennedy family.
Which character – as performed by Aedin Moloney – was your favorite?
The narrator makes the story come to life with her own thick Irish accent.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The story takes you from the year following the death of Jackie's husband, President Kennedy, to the marriage then death of her second husband, Onasis, to the untimely death of Jackie, and then to the tragic death of John Kennedy, Jackie's son.

Historia
His name was Kevin but his keepers called him Zoo Boy. He didn't talk. He hid under tables and surrounded himself with a cage of chairs. He hadn't been out of the building in the four years since he'd come in. He was afraid of water and wouldn't take a shower. He was afraid to be naked, to change his clothes. He was nearly 16. Desperate to see change in the boy, the staff of Kevin's adolescent treatment center hired Hayden. As Hayden read to him and encouraged him to read, crawling down into his cage of chairs with him, Kevin talked.
