Love the story! Love the characters. Laughed out loud at several descriptions of Rowena. I’m excited there’s a second book in the grouping. Going to listen to it right now. Also that the narrator was excellent.

Discrepancy between book number three and book number five.

Chapter 29 of book #3, No Wedding Like Nantucket has Brent and Rose getting married. But then in book #5, No Secret Like Nantucket, has Brent and Rose simply being boyfriend and girlfriend. That’s a pretty glaring discrepancy.

Loved the story line.

Loved the story line. I loved the characters.  I wish that Lauren had taken the storyline with a little more detail on Liam exploring Ethan’s first six years. it was something she could have expanded on. I highly doubt anyone would bring the father a child without also depositing all of the photo albums and detailed information about his first seven years without his dad. Maybe it’s just me, but I think that would have been a very interesting addition to the story.

I love the way, Lauren writes! I laugh out loud when I listen to her novels, and this is the only novel I’ve listened to that I felt like I wish there had been more to the story.

I also wish there would be more books to follow Liam and January’s life.

The other thing I don’t like with her books is how in the
Chapter of the character that that reader does the other characters voice. I really enjoy when the characters speak their own lines no matter who is narrating the chapter

I also really enjoy Lauren’s description of lovemaking. My husband usually benefits on the evenings that I have heard a love scene. :-)

Please let me know if you ever do make a series out of this story. I like how you mentioned at the end the next book to read with characters we are familiar with.

I would love to hear how Liam and January‘s lives move on.
