This probably is my favorite out of the entire series thus far. The stories are more interesting with each book and the narration is good!

Takes some adjusting

At first, I found it difficult to complete this one with how superficial it sounded. Once the intimate scenes started, it became more enjoyable and didn’t feel like it was dragging anymore.

Enjoyable story leaving you wanting more

I liked this one. The story was good. I don’t think there was a dull moment & it ends with you wanting to immediately start the second book!

I was hesitant to give the second book a try after the first one played such a ‘cat and mouse’ with them getting a first kiss in adolescence, but I’m glad I did! The first book left you with such a pit that needed to be filled and The Living Canvas filled it!
It was such a good story and it kept me wanting to finish it!

I’m rating this one a 3.75 out of 5. It was difficult for me to get through. I struggled. I felt it was slow paced, but once the R rated events started happening, it picked up the pace and was very enjoyable.

Not what I expected

I got an audible copy of this book. I mostly enjoyed it. At times, I was a bit annoyed with how often they were interrupted in their childhood, but it built up to the climax into adulthood. Also, READ THE TRIGGER WARNINGS. I normally don’t have any triggers but a particular scene in the story definitely made me gasp!

It also stopped on a cliffhanger! Now I definitely have to get the second book to find out what happens!

Talk dirty to me!

This book for me was a solid 4, UNTIL the end. The dirty talking was what I wanted to hear in a story like this! Using the dirty talk instead of PGing it down made me already want to score it higher. BUT the end. Holy crap! A few chapters before the end, there was something absolutely unexpected! As I listened, I had to rewind it because I wanted to make sure I heard it right, and I did! I didn’t expect it & it was a nice surprise! This is my first Theodora Taylor book and it did not disappoint. This is the fourth book in a series, but can be read as a standalone! I’ll definitely have to read/listen to the rest of the books. I definitely recommend if you’re into the genre.

Also, the narrators voices matched the characters personalities perfectly!

End of world listen

Not sure what I expected starting this book, but overall, I enjoyed it. It was the first book I’ve listened to and I wasn’t disappointed. Performance was pretty good too!

Unexpected

I started this book not expecting the outcome. It definitely surpassed my expectations & I wasn’t disappointed. It was a bit slow to start but picked up and kept me listening.
