Historia
Work is bad enough, but what if things go really wrong? Learn how to sneak out of a meeting, survive a stockroom avalanche, extract a tie caught in the photocopier, and survive a workplace romance. Hands-on, step-by-step instructions guide you through these and other crises that can strike between 9 and 5, or on the swing shift. This is the one desk reference you can't live without.

Entertaining and possibly useful
Revisado: 08-30-04
I haven't seen the real book so this was all new to me. It's full of possibly useful information. Some of it seems random (i.e. applying for a forklift operator job) while other parts could be handy (i.e. dealing with office gossip). The author sprinkles dry humor throughout. It's a fun listen that you may just get a useful trick from.

Short, sassy, and bold, Mean Genes reveals that our struggles for self-improvement are, in fact, battles against our own genes - genes that helped our distant ancestors flourish, but are selfish and out of place in the modern world.

Entertaining and Informative

"Mean Genes" is one of the best Audible books I've heard. It's read with a light tone and full of fascinating information about how our biological coding affects us. It is not full of jargon or high level scientific terms. It's aimed at the educated and curious individual. Very good "reading"!
