Historia
Sixteen-year-old Frankie Budge—aspiring writer, indifferent student, offbeat loner—is determined to make it through yet another summer in Coalfield, Tennessee, when she meets Zeke, a talented artist who has just moved into his grandmother’s house and who is as awkward as Frankie is. Romantic and creative sparks begin to fly, and when the two jointly make an unsigned poster, shot through with an enigmatic phrase, it becomes unforgettable to anyone who sees it. The edge is a shantytown filled with gold seekers. We are fugitives, and the law is skinny with hunger for us.

The story was disappointing. I failed to understand the obsession with the posters. It was kinda lame.

Historia
Who hasn’t wondered for a split second what the world would be like if a person who is the object of your affliction ceased to exist? But then you’ve probably never heard of The McMasters Conservatory, dedicated to the consummate execution of the homicidal arts. To gain admission, a student must have an ethical reason for erasing someone who deeply deserves a fate no worse (nor better) than death. The campus of this “Poison Ivy League” college—its location unknown to even those who study there—is where you might find yourself the practice target of a classmate.

Okay

Really thought this would be more entertaining than it actually was, but it was set up like a textbook/diary so everything was told /explained. It was enjoyable but quite dry, with a splash of humor here and there. I probably would have dnf if I was reading it tbh, due to the dryness, but the narrators made it easy to finish,

Historia
Maire is a baker with an extraordinary gift: she can infuse her treats with emotions and abilities, which are then passed on to those who eat them. She doesn't know why she can do this and remembers nothing of who she is or where she came from. When marauders raid her town, Maire is captured and sold to the eccentric Allemas, who enslaves her and demands that she produce sinister confections, including a witch's gingerbread cottage, a living cookie boy, and size-altering cakes.

Loved keeper of enchanted rooms so wanted to try another book. The audio was insanely slow. I listened at 2.5 speed, and there were still weird pauses. The story was just not that exciting.

listen at 1.25 speed
Revisado: 07-12-19
The story is great, the book needed some serious editing. It is soooooo exhaustingly repetitive and the person reading the book overprounces everything. I found that listening at 1.25 speed helped a lot. If you can get through some of the annoying parts, the story is not bad, but I was rolling my eyes a lot when the sex scenes kept coming.
