Historia
Darkness is deeply misunderstood in today's world; yet it offers powerful medicine, serenity, strength, healing, and regeneration. All insight, vision, creativity, and revelation arise from darkness. It is through learning to stay present and meet the dark with curiosity rather than judgment that we connect to an unwavering light within. Welcoming darkness with curiosity, rather than fear or judgment, enables us to access our innate capacity for compassion and collective healing.

healing through wholeness
Revisado: 05-26-23
This book offers us some insights into the root causes of modern day human suffering through the lens of heigherarchical perception and hyperfocus on the light in our society. the author invites us to embrace the darkness, the unknown from which all things arise and from which all material relative reality then falls back to. she invites us to live in the darkness, inquire as to the nature of darkness, and embrace darkness in ourselves and the world in which to then gain wholeness. From this wholeness we are better able to live clearly, presently and compassionately amidst ever present emergence and change that is our humanity and environment. Wonderful read :)

Historia
This program is read by the author.
Marc Brackett is a professor in Yale University’s Child Study Center and founding director of the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence. In his 25 years as an “emotion scientist”, he has developed a remarkably effective plan to improve the lives of children and adults - a blueprint for understanding our emotions and using them wisely so that they help, rather than hinder, our success and well-being. The core of his approach is a legacy from his childhood, from an astute uncle who gave him permission to feel.

Transformational!
Revisado: 04-06-21
I pretty much made notes all over this book. it's incredible, life changing, workplace changing, societal changing, & individual changing. Mark puts in to words things I have felt for a very very long time. Others have called me an empath in my nursing career, but now I realize I was just acknowledging the emotions of others, and a lot of us all experience similar feelings, but the majority of individuals are afraid of speaking up. This book helps with my confidence in speaking up more often and helping others birth their own voices!
