very disappointed
Revisado: 02-21-08
The reviews were right on. I didn't read any since I had been a Cornwell fan. This book ended that. It was terrible. It dragged on and on and on and on with little action or plot. Then of course we need the snide little political commentary to hold our noses through. Save your time and money. My last Cornwell book. Too bad, other books were very good.

Very Enjoyable
Revisado: 09-21-05
This was a most enjoyable book. I have gotten McBain books before and have enjoyed them all. Hold your nose at some of the inane political comments sprinkled throughout and you will like the story. It would have been a 5 star without the politics.

Excellent mystery
Revisado: 01-18-05
One of the best books I've listened to from Audible. This book kept me riveted from start to finish. If you like good mysteries with lots of plot twists and good character development, I highly recommend this book. Excellent.

Not the best (by far)
Revisado: 12-21-04
This must have been written by the younger Clark. It was very painful listening. Not what you expect from the elder. Save your time and money.
