Historia
The Body on the T is the second book in the Windflower mystery series and it follows up on the highly acclaimed premiere, The Walker on the Cape. The story begins when a body washes up on a beach near Grand Bank, Newfoundland. There is no identification on the body and few clues to identify who the person was or where they came from. The case becomes the responsibility of Sgt. Winston Windflower of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and his trusted side-kick, Corporal Eddie Tizzard. But this is just the beginning.

A great sequel
Revisado: 08-04-19
I just posted a review for The Walker on the Cape after wrapping up The Body on the T and I must say the author has done a fabulous job crafting the perfect sequel to a great first book. The Body on the T re-introduces us to Sgt. Wildflower and takes us on yet another adventure filled with action, thrills, mystery and murder. I quite enjoyed this one more than the prequel, to be honest. This might be because now that I'd already read one story about the protagonist and some of the other main characters, it felt a bit more like home coming to a second book and meeting them again. I like the way author Mike Martin crafts his stories; he has a knack for building characters and plotlines that are believable and likeable, and to be honest, something that is very much possible in real life. Finished this book the day after wrapping up The Walker on the Cape and I am absolutely immersed in and obsessed with these books right now. Can't wait for the next instalment!

Historia
A man's body is found on the Cape in a small fishing community on the East Coast. At first, everyone thinks it's a heart attack or stroke. But then it is discovered that he was poisoned. Who would do this and why? Finding that out falls to Sergeant Winston Windflower of the RCMP along with his trusted sidekick, Eddie Tizzard. Along the way, they discover that there are many more secrets hidden in this small community and powerful people who want to keep it that way.

Good read
Revisado: 08-04-19
The Walker on the Cape is a well-crafted story of a man who ends up dead on his walk, with the world calling it suicide but one man believing his instincts that it was in fact, murder. The story moves at a sound pace, but there are times when it does get a little slow. I'd have loved to have some more thrill or action within the plotline, but it still flows well. Also, it would have been more fun to listen had there been some more twists or an additional mystery to keep things alive. Don't get me wrong; this is a great audio book and I'd recommend it to anyone who likes mysteries. There was an element of surprise in the book, and the author has done a great job of sticking to the storyline throughout; never once does the story dawdle. Finished this book within 2 days and already bought the next!
