I truly lost myself riding on that train not Knowing whether I would live or die or worse!! A frightening world swirling around me with no hope. He was a killer, they all were and I was the only woman. This story will have you tuned in 100%!!!!! It is constantly moving and changing from one thing and another. A++++++

A breath of fresh air!

It was so refreshing learning about Clayton and all that he faced and prayed and fought for. Vanessa’s horrible situation and her growth through it all as she and Clayton struggled to find healing and this man that watched her grow from a funny young girl full of laughter to a woman that he cherished and loved with his whole heart.

Sometimes Christian stories of romance and adventure lack something. They can be bland and one runs to another and then another seeming the same. We as readers long to be swept up into the story and feel what they feel and it is true to life. Thank you for this adventure and allowing me to be right there where they were.

Wonderful story full of mystery and love

What an awesome story. You don’t know from one minute to the next what is going to happen, but it turns out full of love and peace. This is a must ready. Well written and well audio too. I look forward to the next book.

This book was an amazing surprise. There were four full length stories each one very much stand alone but getting to read them all together and experiencing the twists and turns was truly rewarding and kept my attention from its start to finish. You gotta love Aunt Nora. She was right there in the background protecting, encouraging but very secretively. You never knew what would come next as the past was introduced to the future in a very contagious reading. Loved this book. I think you will too!!!

One of the best books I have ever listened to on Audible!!! It’s richness and depth are like no other. I have read several of this authors books and I have very much enjoyed them, but this book is by far one of the best of the hundreds and hundreds of books I have read in my life. The story has you laughing, crying and takes you places within yourself that you never realized before it’s reading. I love the two main characters but the others play such an important part. I would love to see this be made into a movie. I think it would be a huge success. What is the meaning of a true hero? You will have to read it to find out.

Interesting dialog and the narrator did a very good job of all the different voices. I enjoyed the story line and how even though Cade had a serious temper and jump to conclusions causing all kinds of changes, he finally got it together.

Wonderful story

I laughed, I cried, and I rejoiced with the wonderful things that took place in this little Scottish town. It’s people were full of action and wonder and it was a joy to read. The only down side was some of the language that wasn’t necessary to its characters.

Please continue writing your books. This was a breath of fresh air. I have read hundreds of books and I must tell you this story was wonderful. I laughed, I cried, and at times forgot where I was or what was happening around me as I was so pulled in to the story. Loved it!

I love these books!

I have so enjoyed listened to these true stores of the many families in Dawson, Montana. They are heart warming comical and thrilling to the reader. If I could change anything about them, it would be to have a woman to do the voices of the women. You guys did a great job with your parts but many of the women all sound the same. Kind of like they are little old ladies and they are certainly not. I love them and appreciate the effort made with the female voices. I would love to go there and see the history and go to the watering hole even though I don’t drink. These books are wonderful. And the Chief sounds so awesome. I love love to have been Beth.

Lillian Thayer is probably no absolutely the best narrator that I have ever experienced. Combine that to a great story that kept my interest from beginning to end, it was a fantastic reading experience. I read about 6 to 8 books a week and that is a lot of books! This by far was fantastic. Thank you Lillian, you rock.
