So profound!!!!!

I didn’t start reading C.S. Lewis except for Narnia until I was in my late 30’s, and then that was here because it is easier to listen. I’ve been told many times by many people that Mere Christianity is a good to phenomenal book. I have a better understanding of what those people were saying. I believe this is an excellent summary of what is at the core of Christianity. His clarifications specify thoughts you never knew how to put into words. I want to write a study on this book to pull out all the great themes and pictures Lewis draws on to clarify. I loved the book and want every Christian to read it.

A well told story and wonderful performance. Yet I hate the way it goes awry for the good people in Edgestow. So many people given a bum deal just for the idea of progress. Makes you feel the pain of what it might have felt like to be under Nazi control of a high minded sort. If I weren't so disgusted by the story I would probably love it. It makes you want to beat down any so called grand scheme or idea by any type of progressive movement.

Experience the better

I have experienced this book in many different forms from the pbs movies to the modern movie to a dramatization of the book. The form for which Lewis wrote it is obviously better than all because his mind is not to be compared. I hear and read his thoughts and want to write like he writes and experience like he experienced fantastic worlds, and his child like ways. He was a genius.

Less sexual, I like

I was put off from the storyline of "Bone Shop" and "Blood Engines" by all the sex and foul language, but this one was much less bothersome, and I liked Genevive a lot. Although I wish you would kill so many good characters, it's annoying. I really liked Ted.

Jessica is one of the best audio voice actors I've heard. Her capability to perform female and even male voices surpasses most everyone else I've heard. The story is not my liking mostly, but nonetheless interesting. Though Jessica just has a way of bringing anything to life. Good job, Jessica!

Victoria is one of the best performers I've heard within the Anne series. She has a wonderfully pleasant voice for the reading of Anne of Green Gables. I think she is the best performer I have from all the Anne book I have. I wish she did more performances for the Anne series. I will always love the story as well. I loved it before ever reading the books because of Megan Follows performance in the movie series. The blessings of a little waif of a girl turned beautiful and smart and loving and open always warms my heart. C'est très magnifique livre.🇨🇦🇫🇷

What made the experience of listening to Introducing Postmodernism the most enjoyable?

It is accurate to the confusion your feel when trying to understand postmodernism.

What was the most compelling aspect of this narrative?

The desire to overcome the phenomenon which is postmodernism.

What about William Roberts’s performance did you like?

What’s the most interesting tidbit you’ve picked up from this book?

Postmodernism really at the root leaves you feeling less and less human in the end even though there are some very good aspects that have taken place because of the concern for others and there plight.

opinionated, one-sided, and false

What could Timothy M. Renick have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

He could have not followed the rabbit trail that he liked and stuck to more facts, and not taken the facts to the rabbit trails he wanted.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

There were good facts about what Thomas did, but the conclusions that were brought out from them were off base in their assumptions.
