Historia
The Inconsequential Child is an intimate memoir of one man's journey of self-discovery. It is written in the form of a letter where each chapter conveys one of the lessons the author has learned during his journey toward emotional well-being, love, and hope. The audiobook centers around a series of memories which were the basis of the author's personal psychoanalysis. The memories are written as he remembers them; in his voice, often in first-person, present-tense. The author also offers both real-time and post-analysis of the memories that have guided him through his journey.

Reading the book seems to do the trick better for me than listening to this

Historia
Psychotherapy works through dialogue between the therapist and client—but what if you could have an effective healing dialogue with yourself? "Because our minds are actually a home to many sub-personalities," Dr. Jay Earley explains, "we have the ability to heal ourselves by engaging directly with the each of our parts." With Self-Therapy, Dr. Earley offers a complete audio training course in a revolutionary therapy called Internal Family Systems (IFS), a powerful psychological tool for finding freedom from chronic emotional issues such as depression and anxiety, and creating internal harmony where the aspects of your psyche are working together for your well-being.

Much better narration than the 2nd edition
Revisado: 02-08-21
This is so much better than 2nd edition just because of the fact that narration is done by the author himself. I think most therapists are great narrators and I love it when they narrate the audible versions of their own books.

Historia
The Tao of Fully Feeling teaches us to respond to our painful and potentially disruptive feelings in healthy ways. It illustrates the enriching aspects of the so-called negative emotions and helps us achieve the emotional flexibility whereby sadness easily mellows into solace, anger unfolds into laughter, fear evolves into excitement, jealousy opens up into appreciation, and blame gives way to forgiveness.

The narration is fine
Revisado: 11-08-20
One of the reviews say the narration sounds monotone, I’m just saying that I think it’s demanding attention and thus fine. The words are uttered even-paced and clearly so that the words are distinct and hence easier to absorb for the listeners.
