More boring and tedious than scary

Way too much information about the author's life and achievements and not enough regarding the haunting. It was too 'cut and dried' and devoid of any suspenseful descriptions that make a ghost story memorable and interesting. As another reviewer stated, it was more an autobiography than a tale of the supernatural.

I expected a balanced view about the events that transpired during WWII and how the public dealt with it, but all I got was a finger-wagging lecture about racism, sexism and the like. Sorry, can't do it, I'm weary of the constant 'racism' drumbeat. The Race Card has been overplayed, IMO and it's time to move on....

MOST IMPORTANT STORY OF THE CENTURY

Mark Levin has been a tireless Crusader against the biased, hostile media that has been deceiving and lying to the American people for decades. These disgusting, evil people are more a threat to our Republic than any foreign invading force could ever hope to do to to try to bring our country down to its knees . As Cicero once said, 'the enemy within is more to be feared than an assassin with his knife or sword." This book has been a long time coming and its importance is beyond belief, given the rampant abuse of an out of control, vitriolic, media that has long ago abdicated their responsibilities to accurately inform the American public in a non-biased, un-partisan position. These people in the media are not only Sharlitans, they are evil activists that are impacting our lives on a daily basis due to their constant dose of disinformation. This book should be required for high school seniors to read before graduation.

Great Ending Story for Another Great Series

The 'ghost busters' tackle what is probably the most evil, sinister evil spirit of the entire series. Plus, they have to deal with the 'Drowning Boy', from the last book, whom Stefan has liberated. They have their work cut out for them and it isn't easy, by any stretch of the imagination. There are a lot of 'loose ends' and vendettas to be settled, so sit back and see how it all plays out....

Not very scary nor compelling

I wasn't too impressed with the overall impact of the book as read on Audible. It didn't scare me sufficiently to want to pull the covers over my head as I listened late at night as I am wont to do. For me, a ghost story must be compellingly scary and conjure up images of dark, evil ghosts that roam the halls, causing mayhem and panic. For me, the story was too sedate. Not poorly written, but kind of dull. Just my own personal preference.
