The purple moon festival was a drag

I really liked the other books in this series, but this one was a struggle to finish. The purple moon festival was when all the characters were finding love and romance. Every couple had a sultry scene, then another and another. It should been highlight, but I found that I wanted to get past all romance and move the actual climax of the story. When the story climax happened it was passable, I am not sure that will read the next book. The performance was very good. I would read the author again in a different series.

Struggled to finish this book....but still liked. I thought the first book was hard to get into at first,but ended up loving it. This book started out good, but often lost interest. Overall I enjoyed, but will not be picking up the next book in the series.
What about the narrators’s performance did you like?
Narration was fine..it was story was the issue.
