The dwarfish, fetally damaged yet brilliant Miles Vorkosigan has more than his share of troubles. Having recently escaped an assassination plot whose tool was a brainwashed clone of himself, Miles has set the clone, Mark, free for a new chance at life. Insightful and delightful
Revisado: 01-22-23
As a long time fan of this series, this is a well read & well preformed listen. The powerful insights into the struggles of an abuse survivor are spot on and not overwhelming to listen to. If you are a survivor, you’ll appreciate the honesty and insights. If you’re blessed to not have such struggles you will gain insights and compassion as you enjoy a great story in the hands of a master writer.

Historia
Is it possible for an American Vice President to carry out a criminal enterprise inside the White House and have nobody remember? To have one of the most brazen political bribery scandals in American history play out before the country while nobody’s paying attention? In her first original podcast, MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow goes back 45 years to dig into a story that got overshadowed in its day. There’s intrigue. Corruption. Envelopes of cash delivered to the White House. It’s a story that’s not well known, but it probably should be. Especially today. Bag Man. A Rachel Maddow podcast ...

Great telling of an little understood episode that impacts current events
Revisado: 04-23-22
Well researched, compellingly told and informative. I lived when news of these crimes was revealed. Listen to this series, I’ve learned so much more. And now I see the direct impact on current US politics.

With the large number of characters in this story, it’s delightful to have clear and distinctive voices for each. Listening to this reading is pure pleasure.
