To much time spent on main characters past trauma. It was really frustrating waiting for the main characters to step up and do something about their situation instead of quote from the book “looking like a whipped dog”. That did not seem to be in line with previous books when referring to dragons and their riders.
I also did not like how Murtagh and Thorn were completely man handled by the villain until the very end. Or how they got beat up by a fish 🙄🙄. Come on Paolini a fish…

The story was great I could not stop listening. However when the stats are read over and over and over and over and over and over again it gets a little annoying. Or when the exact same monologue is repeated from a different character it makes you want to pull your hair out. But the story is great already downloading book 2.

The new narrator is trash.

I’m about an hour through this book and I’m uncertain I can finish it. I loved this series up until the new narrator. The narration is so bland and monotone every character sounds the same to the point you cannot tell which character is speaking. I will not be purchasing anymore of Krouts books if he continues to use Luke Daniels. Fix it.
