Awesome book and narration!

The narration was like radio theatre! It was wonderfully engaging and entertaining! The story is incredibly clever and well written. I'm looking forward to listening to the other 2 books read by this narrator. He has voices for all the characters and even sings the songs and does other vocal sound effects.

Fantastic book! Don't let bad narration stop you.

Fantastic book that laid out from history (quoting many thinkers from the French and American revolutionary period) the foundation of leftist and conservative thought. Does a great job impartially displaying both points of view and comparing them and their implications in many areas of life.
The content of the book is fantastic, a political treasure. Unfortunately the reader's voice sounds pretty mechanical and isn't very pleasant to listen to but I got used to it. Don't let the bad narration stop you from listening to it.

Great overview book with great insight!

Loved hearing the author read the introduction and hearing the motivation and outline of the book. Appreciated Christian worldview of book and balanced medical perspective with emphasis on importance of family. As a mostly clueless guy going into this, I really appreciated the overview of pregnancy, labor, birth, and the different stages within the first few years, along with info, recommendations, and tips for each part.

I've read Sacred Search and Sacred Marriage by the same author and I appreciate his perspective on parenting as well. I think he lays out a very biblical and helpful perspective on parenting that is realistic and wise.
