nice short story

This was my second audiobook I listened to by this author, but my first read by Oliver Wyman - wow! what a range of voices and accents. Great story overall, I got a bit confused with all the different societal branches of government and lost track of who the murderer was working for, but I'll not take stars away for it. Maybe there'll be a part 2?

I watched the movie a long while back and thoroughly enjoyed it. So when this audio book was on sale I grabbed it, and you know what, I loved it! It was like watching the movie in my minds eye while listening! Wil Wheaton did a great job capturing Mark Watney!
One thing that could have helped a bit though is if there would have been a secondary narrator to better divide between Mark and everybody else, that was slightly confusing at times, but did not ruin anything for me.
I know a lot of reviews are hating on Wil Wheaton in this specific audio book; I've never listened to anything else by him nor by the other narrator of this book from a different edition, so I can't comment on that, but will find other works of both to see what's up.
