Historia
That’s the real life story of country music star Jimmy Wayne. It’s a miracle that Jimmy survived being hungry and homeless, bouncing in and out of the foster care system, and sleeping in the streets. But he didn’t just overcome great adversity in his life; he now uses his country music platform to help children everywhere, especially teenagers in foster care who are about to age out of the system. Walk to Beautiful is the powerfully emotive account of Jimmy’s horrendous childhood and the love shown him by Russell and Bea Costner, the elderly couple who gave him a stable home and provided the chance to complete his education. Jimmy says of Bea, “She changed every cell in my body.”

Revisado: 02-02-24
My heart just kept breaking over Jimmy's childhood experiences, but my goodness love from some amazing people made all the difference . Touched by his music first and then touched by his story. It was completely a God thing Jimmy, Bea and her husband come together. I heard several times in this story that he followed that little nudge or voice he heard, if we could all do that image where we could go. Thank you Jimmy, God Bless.

Have to say
Revisado: 02-14-23
It was a nice romantic story the narrator did a great job And the characters were great. 2 things...1) it wasn't believable how much a lone time they had at the resort. Without giving too much away. 2) I didn't like how the character was grabbing her arm so often. He would be out the door in the first grab with me, it doesn't matter how good-looking he was.

Rigorous Honesty
Revisado: 02-07-23
Thank you for sharing your honest and difficult journey! A true example of the fact that the disease of alcoholism and drug abuse does not discriminate. The insanity of harm and self-harm involves the addict, the family, friends, and those around them. It's not just a disease felt by one. I, too, am grateful today! Just AS good looking as dad!

Not for me
Revisado: 12-07-22
Sorry Nora, not for me on this one. This was the first one sofar that I didn't care for. Christian was overbearing, controlling and just not my idea of a catch. He needed to loosen up. All the other characters I liked just fine.

Feel good story for sure!
Revisado: 07-23-20
This book was a bit of a challenge in my mind, the reason being is a couple of things turned out differently than how I wanted to see the story go but the way that it was written I really like the way that it turned out much better! The reader did an awesome job with the characters. I listen on my way back and forth to work everyday, but I had a hard time setting it down so extra hours of listening into my days. it also gave me a look into the life of a writer something I would never do but I enjoyed learning about the characters who loved being a writer.

Great job, great book, love the concept. I was entertained by the story as well as it makes me think about where I am on my visit to the man on the mountain to see The Holy Man.
