The narrator puts an odd emphasis on words, almost hostile or angry. It is annoying and distracting to the content. It's an enlightening look at women and girls in comparison to men and boys. Helpful in a journey out of codependency.

I love Dr. Greger's videos and blog entries. He is very intelligent. The narrator on this summary of his, "How Not To Die" book mispronounces too many words making it seem a little ignorant. Other than that it's a pretty good summary. I have to admit I was hoping for something a little better. Something you could recommend to someone who needs the info but isn't convinced that they do.

I'm sorry but I can't go along with the author's logic if you can call it that. I have been encouraged to get and read this book for a long time and just decided to use some of my audible credits to check it out though I didn't expect it would set right with me. No offense to all the believers. I am skeptical to a fault, I will readily admit that and I don't usually fall for stuff like this. It generally pisses me off when people prey on the belief systems of others all in the name of not preying on people's beliefs. He's not even all that clever about it which shows how desperate we can be to believe in cures and spirits and people with special gifts. If people feel better after cutting out unhealthy foods that should be no surprise. Generally there is a direct correlation with increased health problems and the increased consumption of unhealthy foods promoted by money grubbing industry. Eat crap in moderation, the moderation our great grandparents used.
