A wonderful first book. Hope this becomes a series of their life-long adventures/cases. It is refreshing to hear historical-fiction that wasn't drenched in horror and cruelty, but showed resilience, humanity, and an true community of people from various walks of life.

Other podcast stories do not spend as much time on credits and commercials during *every* episode. Trying to skip through that can be very tedious when the chapters are pretty short. Skipp past those was a huge inconvenience while resting or driving. Ruined the story for me and I couldn't finish it.l :/

Wish author could have further aknowledged her treatment of health workers, how fortunate she was to have suitable insurance, good family support, and financial stability during that harrowing time. Instead, the entire book is mostly complaining about every little inconvenience Mrs. Garrison experienced - though some moments were very inexcusable and should have been included.
