Historia
The life story of Billy Dixon, a buffalo hunter and scout from the Texas Panhandle who was active as far as Colorado, Kansas and Oklahoma, offers a genuine depiction of life on the old western frontier. Billy helped found the town of Adobe Walls, ended a siege during the Second Battle of Adobe Walls with a long-distance shot, and received the US Medal of Honor for his bravery at the Buffalo Wallow Fight. Billy later served as postmaster at Adobe Walls, sheriff of Hutchinson County, Texas, and state land commissioner.

Billy Dixon
Revisado: 03-21-25
The tales as told by the great Texas Panhandle legend Billie Dixon were so well depited, in these accounts, one could imagine each adventure as clearly as if a grand artist had painted it from the page to your heart and mind. Well done, and an easy uplifting read. What a pioneer storytelling success.

Job Well Done
Revisado: 07-21-24
This book was not at all what I had expected. It was more, and made even better by Dr. Attia's quite impressive reading of the audio version.
The content is provocative, interesting, challenging, and written on a level that both professionals and layman will see it's useful potential for adaptation.
I expect Dr.Attia will never know the full impact of this labor of his. However, I believe it will be quite life changing for some, maybe even many.
Intrigued and inspired, sincerely, S. Bass
