His disappearances are spontaneous, his experiences unpredictable, alternately harrowing and amusing.

Struggle to Finish

I wanted to like this book. I love books with movie adaptations and very rarely will I say the movie is better than the book. I was waiting for something, anything! to happen in the plot.. but it seemed to revolve around tiny, minute details about useless things. The idea of a time traveling husband seemed fun but after a the third "jump" it got repetitive with how he's always naked, or hungry, or throwing up. Claire didn't seem like a likeable character and the reader made Henry seem bored and annoyed, almost condescending at times. Overall, I couldn't understand the hype and found myself forcing the minutes to finish. I'm quitting after 10 hours and rewatching the movie instead.

These books have everything and makes you want more! The ending was beyond amazing! I love his twists on what we know and how he makes them his own! more people need to know of this series!

Interesting premise but so Slow..

I enjoyed the performance from the narrator, she made the story worth it in the end. However, I was waiting for the book to get to the interesting part and I waited.. and waited. It was a struggle to not give up and start a new book but once I start a book, I finish it. After all was said and done, it was an okay book.
