I listened to this book over two days. It was enjoyable and even though I wasn't super excited about the premise, because it was rather unbelievable, I still bought the book. I was pleasantly surprised that the love pill wasn't anything fantastical and took little to buy into. The only downside to the book was the voice actors precise diction, in audiobooks that is an area where I prefer good to great. Bottom line - good lesfic

Why hadn't I heard about this book?

This was an entirely enjoyable book. I think many authors would have broken it into the separate books and charged more, I would have. It is 22 hours long. I enjoyed the narration, which was done by the author, the only improvement I would make would be to have more varied voices, although it was always clear who was speaking. As a lesbian, I felt the sex scenes were well done and not overdone, and not what the book was all about. Great scifi plot and world building. I'll be finding Kyra Anderson's other books.

enjoyable and charming with a slower pace

I think this book is much better than some of the reviews would lead you to believe. It has excellent narration, with Abby Craden doing the last ten hours. There was more detail in the writing which leads to the slower pace and caused me to see foreshadowing where there really wasn't any. Steamy scenes and realistic characters.

I didn't think I'd enjoy a book about loss or basketball but I took the chance because Eliza Andrew's Princess of Dorsa series so great. This was well written, well narrated and not really about basketball. I started it last night, lost sleep listening because I enjoyed it so much and finished it this afternoon.
