Listened to the Spanish version because we love Tony Dalton (Better Call Saul, Señor Avila). Living in the same area when the author was growing up, brought this book’s story to life. It’s so surreal to recall seeing the uncle’s car in the bay after he was shot, and riding our bikes to their opulent house to see the pet piglet running around their home’s balcony. We had no idea who they were…but now we do. It’s an excellent listen.

Insightful, raw, enraging, and emotional. A darn good!

“What?!” said Prince Harry incredulously many times throughout this book to the confounding non-actions and cowardly replies from his royal family. Reading this raw, insightful, enraging and emotional account of Prince Harry’s path to freedom, I was also incredulous about the many pleas for help he and Meghan made to his father, brother and grandmother to stop the vile press’s attacks on them…all went unanswered. Living in the UK when Princess Diana was alive had a similar feel—I left before she died. Now, the top royals have become a narcissistic, cruel, unkind, toxic and unconscionable lot. Spare me their continued reign over those gross tabloids, they can have them.

An uplifting and inspiring listen. I especially loved the Kitchen Table and We Go High chapters. Not easy things to do, but keeping and making adult friends and doing the work are worth it.

Fascinating Must Read!

“Melania and Me” is a fascinating read. I couldn’t put it down. I wS done with it in three days.

The author, Stephanie Winston (of Harry Winston) Wolkoff, WAS MT’s friend in every sense of the word. Winston’s pedigree (Sotheby’s, Vogue, Met Gala, NFW, etc.) is indisputable, and is what makes her account of the events she relates credible — unlike the credibility of “The Family” she worked with.

Winston was pulled into the Trump swamp, and is now in a lawsuit over the mysterious whereabouts of $107 million, money earmarked for the Presidential Inauguration she helped organize, which was allegedly funneled to Trump businesses.

“The $107-million cost of the event, which unlike a movie was not a for-profit enterprise, was $50 million higher than any previous inauguration.”

Melania betrayed her friend in the ugliest way. She’s a Trump through and through.
