Wow! This is my first DJ Krimmer book and boy was I blown away! This story had me wanting more every second that passed by. Fox is undeniably trying to be the good guy when it comes to Janie, the red headed firecracker who’s set on making him hers. But life has that weird way of giving you exactly what you need when you least expect it.
The performances by Sebastian York and Maxine Mitchell lead you on a rollercoaster of emotions along the way. For me this was one of my favorite performance by Sebastian, he gave all emotions of Fox, so much at times I wanted to shake him. Maxine always gives her all. She was boss babe when and made you cry with every hit that came at her. Blue Nose Audio did amazing with production of this story.

Magical!!

This is my ALC review:
Wow! Hear me out! Let’s world build in the most magical way. Blackstar sets you up to a new world and new land filled with adventure, and action. Be patient because it leads up to something really quite spectacular. This story follows a badass MFC Ameilja and her Völfien. Her close bond to them, and what she sees for herself in the future. Kovuco is one of her Völfien who is a Blackstar (by name) and is somewhat considered an outsider to everyone except Ameilja and her pack of protectors.
This book has some Asian influence which is extremely lovely to read! I can’t wait to see where this story takes us next!

MY WIFE!

Oh how I felt Nathan falling. I loved the insta connection between the two. Aaron Shedlock gave so making us fall for Nathan James. He was domineering but also extremely sweet and understanding. But he also made you hate him when you needed to. Elana Wolfe brought the naivety of Melanie with so much grace. I wanted to love her and I wanted her to love herself.
Sadie brought us another fantastic story with our first James brother. The spice and Nathan’s filthy mouth, whew!!! The production of this story was flawless, and I enjoyed it so much.

Wow! This story gripped me from the very beginning, and to the point I was actually mad I had to turn it off and go to bed because I wanted to keep listening! Kate is the bada** MFC we’ve all been waiting for, and Desiree Ketchum was fantastic voicing her!
Kane is the Alpha every pack deserves. His desire to find and keep his fated mate is so strong it takes a lot for him to break. He’s so thoughtful of every member of his pack. Joe Arden did such a phenomenal job voicing him. You could feel Kane’s heartbreak. You could feel the way he longed and needed his mate. I couldn’t stop listening because Joe made me want to hold on for as long as I could.
This book and audio was so well done!

Cameron Hawke I love you.

This story was an epic ride of right and wrong. Sometimes the lines were blurred.
I don’t blame Cole for feeling stuck in the way that she does. Cams entire life has been on the wrong side. Not everything is as it seems, and the plot twist will have you gasping. Jesice writes real, relatable and not sugarcoated relationships and love. You can feel the turmoil. I love that sad boy so much and he deserves all the happiness.

Joe Arden and Avery Caris did a phenomenal job performing this story. You can’t help but break with them - and you can’t help but heal with them. Sometimes the lines are blurred, but the healing happens when truth is told.

Sexy little read!

I will never be over how insanely hot this book was. It came out the gate with spice. The book fit in well with its predecessor seamlessly. I loved the characters and everything was cohesive. The performance and chemistry of Desiree Ketchum and Joe Arden is off the charts.

Unhinged…GIVE ME MORE!

Hear me out:
Foster siblings falling each other! While clearly not a traditional love story, you can’t help but fall for Olivia and Malachi. Please read the trigger warnings because this story is amazing, but NOT for everyone. The depth brought to the characters in such a short period of time was wonderful. Leigh Rivers did beautifully giving us all the important information.
Olivia from the very start of meeting her new brother as children wants to love him and make him feel special. Malachi is a little bit different due to circumstance and is selective mute - and dealing with ASPD. He is obsessed with Olivia from the start. She is the only kind person to him in the world.
Onto the audio - one of my favorite things about this is the fact that Joe Arden literally sounds like he is signing as he is speaking when in the parts of the book he’s talking to anyone, for me that was just phenomenal. His inner monologue, his signing and actual speech are so distinguishable between the 3. It’s just extraordinary. Malachi story broke my heart, and that was 100% because Joe makes you believe it. Heather Firth, oh how I loved you as Olivia. You never wavered in your conviction throughout the story and you made listening to her side so enjoyable.

Rockstar slow burn

While I ended up enjoying this book, it really did take me until the very last 1/4 of the book to love it. I love that though the chaos Wes and Hannah can stand up to the storm. That they can make eachother better. Wes and Han are both bullheaded at times, but together they make the other see a more rational sides and brought out the best of the other. I don’t understand everyone’s hype of the Mary Sue that is Holland, but maybe that’s because I’ve never met someone who was so perfect and understanding. All in all, the storyline was great and cohesive, and a great reminder that the right person for you may seem like the wrong one at first. What was missing for me was actual spice. There were hints of it happening but not actual spice if you’re looking for that. Joe Arden did a fantastic job bringing life and emotion to all of the characters.

Oh man! This story was a tangled web of truths and lies, and righting the wrongs. It was compelling and concise. The narrators did a fantastic job delivering every emotion, and the production was perfect!

Survival Tip No. 1000: The warning signs can feel like they’re butterflies.

So many twists and turns in this story! So many new characters and character growth. It’s steamy and the storyline just keeps getting better. Eden is a survivor and will keep pushing for what she thinks is the right thing. Her men, while sometimes stubborn will always want her safe no matter the cost.
I love this story because we see them all grow through the difficult times. I can’t wait to devour the next book.
