Great book. On to #2
Revisado: 05-28-23
Great book. Kept me engaged. Excellent narration. If you’re a fan of the Jack Reacher series you’ll like this. Very reminiscent of those. Looking forward to the next in the series.

Revisado: 05-20-23
Catherine Coulter never disappoints! Another great book. Great Narrators although I did have a problem Keith two of the female characters sounding so much alike I often wasn’t sure which one was speaking. Overall 5 stars.

Good. Not my favorite
Revisado: 04-26-21
Another good book by Catherine Coulter. Not my favorite though. A couple times found my mind drifting, just didn’t captivate my attention like the other books have. But it would pick back up. Overall a good (but not great) story.

Great Plot - poor narration
Revisado: 04-18-21
Loved the story and plot. But that’s all that kept me listening. The male narrator was hard to listen to. Very stilted, poor cadence. The female narrator was just ok. I hope he doesn’t do any more books in this series.

Historia
Thumbing across the scorched West Texas desert, loner Jack Reacher has nowhere to go and all the time in the world to get there. Cruising the same stretch of two-lane blacktop is pretty Carmen Greer. But for Reacher, the lift comes with a hitch. Carmen's got a story to tell, and it's a wild one. All about her husband, her family secrets, and a hometown that's pure Gothic. She's also got a plan. Jack Reacher's part of it. And before the sun sets, this ride could cost them both their lives.

Another Great One
Revisado: 10-11-19
Great book. I disagree with other reviews that said it moved slow. I thought the pace was perfect given the plot. And yes, you do hear ‘he said nothing’ a lot but it fits and wasn’t a bother to me.
Narrator was excellent. Handled the different characters voices well, including the little girl.

Historia
Ex-military policeman Jack Reacher is a drifter. He’s just passing through Margrave, Georgia, and in less than an hour, he’s arrested for murder. Not much of a welcome. All Reacher knows is that he didn’t kill anybody. At least not here. Not lately. But he doesn’t stand a chance of convincing anyone. Not in Margrave, Georgia. Not a chance in hell.

Historia
On November 22, 1963, three shots rang out in Dallas, President Kennedy died, and the world changed. What if you could change it back? In this brilliantly conceived tour de force, Stephen King - who has absorbed the social, political, and popular culture of his generation more imaginatively and thoroughly than any other writer - takes listeners on an incredible journey into the past and the possibility of altering it.
