Well-Rounded Story & Characters
Revisado: 03-04-25
I enjoyed the performance and the story. There was sexual tension, drama, pain, and healing. I was captivated throughout and became invested in the characters. It was dark/taboo-ish, but not in a cringy way. I would definitely recommend!

Underwhelming
Revisado: 12-24-21
The storylines were completely underwhelming. I was so disappointed after waiting so long. There was so much time focused on characters that weren’t quite relevant (Amy Higgins storyline) and it made it difficult for me to stay invested. We still don’t have any answers about most of the major storylines. And really….plastic surgery?? If you know, you know. So many unanswered questions. People have invested so much time into these stories and this book was disheartening.

Historia
Laurie is sure love at first sight doesn't exist anywhere but the movies. But then, through a misted-up bus window one snowy December day, she sees a man who she knows instantly is the one. Their eyes meet, there's a moment of pure magic...and then her bus drives away. Certain they're fated to find each other again, Laurie spends a year scanning every bus stop and cafe in London for him. But she doesn't find him, not when it matters anyway. Instead they "reunite" at a Christmas party, when her best friend, Sarah, giddily introduces her new boyfriend: the man from the bus.
