Boring and Predictable
Revisado: 01-19-22
I'm sorry I chose this book.
It is more like a fairy tale than an novel written mature adults.
I was very disappointed.

Together, these classic literary masterpieces warm our hearts and remind us of the joy and love to be discovered anew each Christmas morning. A Classic Christmas features both of these traditional works, as well as other vintage poems and stories that celebrate the timeless truths of the holiday season.

I found the book an excellent way to celebrate Christmas.
It reminded me of my parents reading most of them to me and my siblings when we were children.

Fun Read

If you like stories of the early days of the USA and the settlement of the west with a twist of romance you will enjoy this book.
What makes this special is it tells a story of ordinary who braved the difficulty of the wild west to bring happiness to one another.

Great Read!
Revisado: 05-24-20
This historical novel is brought to life by the audible performance of its cast .
I have read it three times because I have gained a better appreciation of the role of women in early years in America and the role Christianity.

Putting his acting career - and his fiancée - on hold, he's searching for something he can't define, a part of himself he lost on the road to success. Not my favorite book
Revisado: 02-26-20
I didn't like the writer's assumption that the mother was wrong for leaving.
The family seem to me to have some definite marital problems.
There was a very selfish husband who refused to compromise.
The teenage daughter idolize her Dad and she took her dad's side.
Frankly, it this wasn't part of group selection for discussion,I would have returned the book.
The writing was fine technical ly. well done, but it was the thesis I rejected.

Could not put it down
Revisado: 01-15-20
I like the realistic plot which was full suspense and personal reasons to pursue the case for the family victimized by Muslim terrorist.
Second, I found the description of the City of Jerusalem and the land of Israel as a multicultural and full which helped me
imagine the settings.
Last,the author's
use of the spiritual and historical meaning was engaging.
