I DIDN'T WANT TO GET OUT OF THE CAR
Revisado: 11-01-18
What a great book! It's rare that I listen outside of the car but I was so wrapped up in the story that I found myself walking my dog with headphones on listening to the story. There are twists and turns that keep you listening...Near the end the voice in a particular part of the story was so hypnotic that it was almost hard to pay attention to my driving. I pulled over to finish the last 4 minutes of the book. I didn't want it to be over.
I am look forward to listening to her other books :)

Historia
In this intimate, haunting, literary memoir read by the author, an American icon tells her story for the first time, in her own gorgeous words - about a challenging and lonely childhood, the craft that helped her find her voice, and a powerful emotional legacy that shaped her journey as a daughter and a mother.

Entertaining Until The End (ish)
Revisado: 10-12-18
I've always liked Sally Field and found her story very interesting. It seemed though that she spent a lot of time talking about her early life and less her later life. I was looking forward to the Burt Reynolds sections and she didn't disappoint but....the chapter ended abruptly with no closure. I was like...wait...what happened? How did their story actually end? She had gone into so much detail about other areas of her life that this was just weird.
After that it was just an overview of what happened until now. It just seemed to lose it's momentum :(

It's the perfect location for Lester Olsen's lucrative business. He gets to treat gorgeous, young women to five-star restaurants, splashy shows, and limo rides - and then he teaches them how to kill. Private Jack Morgan spends most of his time in Los Angeles, where his top investigation firm has its headquarters.

Loved it!
Revisado: 07-17-18
I don't know why people didn't like this book. I listened to and from work and whenever I'm in the car. I hated for it to end ! The story moved fast and most of the characters were entertaining. On to the next Private book!

Historia
Stone Barrington is called to Bel-Air to oversee an exclusive event that will gather the top echelons of the beau monde: Hollywood starlets, socialites, politicos, billionaires from overseas. It’s a task in which Stone has a personal stake, and one that is made all the more pleasurable - though somewhat more complicated - with the arrivals of two beautiful women with whom he’s intimately acquainted. But the grand occasion has also attracted a dangerous criminal group with sinister plans....

Good Story
Revisado: 03-12-13
What made the experience of listening to Severe Clear the most enjoyable?
This is only my second audio book. I've found that I sometimes have to go back a bit to re-listen to a segment, especially if I'm driving. I love the fact that it makes my drive time fly by.
The narrarator is great and speaks clearly.
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
It definitely kept me on the edge of my seat. Especially when I arrived at work during the good parts. I didn't want to get out of my car!
