Play Along, book four in the Windy City series is another win for me in this series. I loved the characters in this well written story and I couldn’t put it down.
Kennedy and Isaiah find themselves in a fake marriage that takes a slow burn towards a relationship that became all to real for them both. Isaiah may have been ahead of Kennedy in his feelings but her journey with his gentle hand was truly a joy to watch. These two had their ups and downs but in the end they found a once in a lifetime love.

Yee Haw! Cash has thrown me head over heels into my cowboy era!
Cash is the first book in the Lucky River Ranch series and I loved everything about it from Cash and Mollie, two characters that were easy to fall for and a storyline that was entertaining and enjoyable.
Garrett impacted many lives, some of it was good and some of it wasn’t. Cash and Mollie each experienced the different side of him during his lifetime that shaped how they viewed life. Garrett didn’t follow Mollie and her mom when they left the ranch and never really had any relationship with Mollie, but on the other hand he embraced Cash and his brothers when their parents died and allowed them to share life on the ranch with him. Cash saw Garrett as a savior and Mollie just couldn’t understand why he didn’t love her enough to reach out to her. She now has to live with regrets but it seems in his death he offered her more than she could have ever imagined. He gave her the ranch, yes, but that was just the beginning of her life changing journey. She has not only fallen for Cash, the gruff ranch foreman but she finally understands what it was about the ranch life that her father loved so much because she loves it for the same reasons.

Fantastic single dad romance!

I loved Caught Up, book three in the Windy City series! I am a sucker for a single dad romance and Kai Rhodes, MLB star pitcher, is seriously swoon worthy in my eyes. He is so protective of his son Max that he keeps firing the nannies because they don’t meet his standards. That is until Miller Montgomery, the coach’s daughter comes along and shakes up his world.
Miller is a successful, James Beard award winning chef, so taking a temporary job as a nanny was never on her radar, but she felt like she needed a drastic to change in her life in order to get it back on track. She never thought that change would be in the form of a hot baseball player and his adorable son and would ultimately bring her back to the reason why she loved cooking so much.
Ms. Tomforde did such an amazing job with developing these characters that allowed us to easily fall for them and be apart of their journey in such a thoughtful way that you couldn’t help but root them on to finally find their happily ever after.

Where We Promise is the first book by Ashley Munoz that I have read and I can say I definitely enjoyed this book.
This book takes place all within the life of an MC that includes friendships, loyalties, enemies and danger. Jamieson is a legacy but Penelope was brought in when her mom went to live with one of the members. Life can be complicated and these two definitely didn’t take the easy route to find their happiness. This story takes us from the past to the present as these two navigated the ups and downs of their friendship. They made some tough decisions in order to keep Penelope safe and what started off as a pretend marriage moved quickly into something real for them both and allowed their hearts to finally have what they craved all along.

The Right Move, book two in the Windy City series captured me right from the start. It was easy to fall for these characters and get pulled into their story, hoping that they would find their happily ever after.
Ryan Shea is a complicated character with a successful career but his past has taught him not to trust and his present doesn’t allow him the freedom to be himself without the scrutiny of the public and the media.
Indy is a bit of a mess after her catching her boyfriend with someone else. She is trying to put her life back together and living with her best friends brother wasn’t how she planned doing it, but with no other choice this is where she ended up.
Ryan and Indy are quite the opposites but as they say, opposites attract. She brings color and a bit of chaos into his very orderly life and it seems that is exactly what he needed to break out of his solitary existence. I loved watching these two move from roommates to find friendship and finally find something so much bigger. Was it easy, no. Was it worth it, yes.
I also had the added benefit of listening to the audio version of this story and the narrators did a fantastic job that absolutely added to my enjoyment of this book.

Steal My Heart, book one in the Rosewood River series has everything that I have come to expect from Ms. Pavlov! She writes some of my favorite small town romance stories with the perfect balance of memorable characters and an engaging storyline that pull me in and this book is no exception.
If you have read the Magnolia Falls series then you have met Easton and I am thrilled to finally have his story. He is friendly and cares about his family but he holds himself back since the heartbreaking loss of a longtime girlfriend years earlier and he is definitely not looking for a serious relationship at all.
When Henley comes in to work at her father’s law firm she is assigned to Easton to learn the ropes.
They definitely don’t get off to a great start but Henley finds a way to break down Easton’s walls and she gets to see and understand the true man that he keeps hidden away.
These two end up being a perfect match from the courtroom to the pickleball courts because nothing says perfect match than a princess and an evil genius together and I loved their banter and chemistry as their relationship developed.

Mile High, book one in the Windy City series is the first by Ms. Tomforde that is have read and I can say that I am definitely a fan. I loved this storyline and the characters so much. Zanders is the confident, sometimes arrogant, yet protective hockey player that pushed Stevie’s buttons. She is kind and a hard worker that wants nothing to do with professional athletes other than dealing with them as her job dictates. However, as the season progresses they seem to be drawn towards one another and the banter between these two is on point as it seems to be the catalyst that pulls these two together. He started out as a bit of a nuisance to her doing her job but it was his way of keeping her close. She gave as good as she got when she wasn’t working and when these two finally found their common ground all bets were off because their chemistry was on fire.

All the Missing Pieces pulled me in right from the start! You could feel the dark side that this story was going to take immediately and I needed the answers as much as Ridley.
This story is going to take you on a heartbreaking journey as Ridley, a crime podcaster searches for not only the person who took her twin sister years earlier, but she ties her sister’s disappearance to so many other missing girls and she thinks the answers will come from the first victim and her small town of Shady Cove. Now, she is trying to tie all the pieces of all those cold cases together.
Colt’s sister, Emerson was the first victim and she survived but she isn’t really living ten years later. As a lawman, he has been trying to solve this crime and it isn’t until Ridley shows up and shakes the foundation of his world and that of the town that he sees this crime in a different way. He is a protector and now that Ridley seems to be opening up a can of worms and finds herself in danger, he will do whatever it takes to keep those he cares about safe.
Colt and Ridley share a lot of the same guilt as pain, but they also find a common bond and so much more as they spend time together. Tragedy may have brought them together but it’s the love they share that binds them together.
This story definitely has some twists and turns but finding the evil person who perpetrated all these heinous crimes was the ultimate goal and the good guys definitely came out on top.
I also had the added benefit of listening to the audio version of this story and the narrators did an amazing job that absolutely added to my enjoyment of this book!

We finally have Millie’s story in She’s a Wild One and it was everything I hoped for. Holden and Millie’s love story is years in the making and after her lied and broke her heart years earlier he never thought he would have the chance to have her heart again.
Now, Holden’s abusive father is dead and left the ranch to Holden, but left his sisters almost nothing. There is, however, one big stipulation. He has to be married within 90 days after the will is read and he can’t imagine marrying anyone but the love of his life, Millie. His little rose! She is not happy with the circumstances, doesn’t make it easy, but will
help him out even if it breaks her heart again.
These two have a love that never died and it takes Holden finally coming clean as to his reasons for leaving her years ago for their hearts to heal and open up again to all the possibilities that have always been. Their happiness has just been delayed but it is worth it in the end. I love a good second chance story and this ones is it and so much more.
