Everything was supposed to be fine. Keaton was going to cure all of the Loup Mountain wolves and monsters, and we were going to head back to my old apartment for some space and alone time to figure out what we wanted to do about...well, everything. But then we realized we had bigger problems. The Loup Mountain werewolves think I'm their Alpha. Most of them are set on staying in Lyka Bay, even if it means living in the forest for the foreseeable future. The ones that aren't so set on forest-living want me dead, so that my gift will transfer to someone else.

This story was better than the last. The narrator tells the story really well and keeps you engaged with the book the entire time. As always the story plot always has the characters developing more as time progresses and questions are answered.

Instead, I got hit in the face with a door. And then, found my dad's face on a dartboard in their diner. The people there need my help, but I can't help them unless I tell them who I am. And telling them who I am just might get me killed. The one connection I find comes in the form of a gorgeous, inked-up chemist who's the only person in town that doesn't hate me.

Fantastic. It's just my luck I get turned into a vampire by an Edward Cullen wannabe who has Captain Jack Sparrow as his mentor. He did gift me with immortality, super strength, and a complexion to die for, so I suppose I shouldn't complain. There's only one tiny problem.... I faint at the sight of blood. All I wanted was to have the time of my life with my bestie at Mardi Gras. But you know what they say.... It's all fun and games until someone wakes up dead.

This book is hilarious!!!! This is my first time hearing about this series and then to have the audiobook with the “southern accent”. Im not sure which was funnier the story line or the narrator trying to sound like a Texan- which i will say was something else. As a Native Texan i didnt know if i should laugh or be offended. I laughed it was to funny not to cause the narrator tried. But all in all it was a good audiobook
