Half the audio was titles and pov switches

The story was good but the execution was not, especially on audio. The sheer number of POV changes was too much and completely unnecessary. Beta readers or a developmental editor should have fixed this. Will not be reading any more from her.

Too much spice and not much else in terms of plot. The breakup was the same old thing. The narration saved it. The brother ruined it.

Not really a curvy girl positive book

Despite the spiel at the beginning, it literally had high school bullies throughout, social media bullying, constant references to body size, etc. This would have been fine but don't sugar coat a warning at the beginning of the book in a ploy to get people to read. It's triggering and downplaying the triggers of bullying and self-deprication is dangerous.

Also the chickens were too much. It wasn't funny.

Chris was immature and if he's the oldest of the brothers, yikes.

From the portrayal of a plus sized womam to calling the baby a goat turd to the sly commentary on polyamory... I could read through the offhanded ick commentary about the 3 brothers previous relationship.

I'll be honest, I almost skipped this one because of the male narrator but clearly he has improved since the last time I tried to listen to him. The story was great. Nothing really crazy or profound just a nice simple read with low angst.

It was decent until...

a steamy scene and he said "young p***y" to her. That really just pulled me out of the story and reminded me of her age.

She just turned 19 and he is 33. He acts like he is much older and maybe since I am listening to the audio it feels that way too. Either way this age gap was not done well at all.

Also it didn't make any sense for him to keep Polo there especially after some of the things he said. He is suppposed to protect her yet the red flags were waving in every interaction between Polo and Giorgio.

The male narrator for this sounded more like 40s and 50s. Overall it just really started to be concerning once they were intimate...

The first book was too long as well. I think because it is so good and funny everyone ignores that the amount of fluff has gotten out of control. This book should not have been 16hrs but more like 12.

I've never read a single dad and single mom romance where both are widowers. This book did not disappoint.
