Historia
When Natasha Leggero got pregnant at forty-two after embarking on the grueling IVF process, she was over the moon. But once her feelings of bliss dissipated, she couldn’t help but shake the lingering question: Am I doing this right? And then, Should I be doing this if the world is about to end?

I just love Natasha
Revisado: 12-01-23
I love Natasha and her stand up and Another Period was hilarious. I saw her on an old episode of the Bald and the Beautiful and had no idea she had a kid. I didn't expect to have kids and ended up having them in my twenties but still super related to this. I don't think enough moms get to hear about how hard it is to maintain autonomy or how truly useless men are at anything having to do with kids. I love Natasha and I loved this book

Historia
Jennette McCurdy was six years old when she had her first acting audition. Her mother’s dream was for her only daughter to become a star, and Jennette would do anything to make her mother happy. So she went along with what Mom called “calorie restriction." She endured extensive at-home makeovers while Mom chided, “Your eyelashes are invisible, okay? You think Dakota Fanning doesn’t tint hers?” She was even showered by Mom until age sixteen while sharing her diaries, email, and all her income. In I’m Glad My Mom Died, Jennette recounts all this in unflinching detail.

good read
Revisado: 09-24-22
the dry humor that jennette goes about telling her truth is perfect. how do you review a book about someone's life that you read voyeuristically? she's a great writer and I feel bad that all these things happened to her. may she find peace

wish I could give it 0 stars

I was in no way shape or form looking to be preached to about the word of God when I just wanted to see what type 9 was in more depth. this was such a preachy book ! every chapter that I could get through and I could only get through three we're just riddled with it. all good and well but I was not expecting that at all.
