Historia
When word comes that two key witnesses in an investigation are dead, North and Shaw are surprised—and pleased—to learn that their friend, John-Henry Somerset, is interested in hiring them as freelance contractors for the Wahredua police department. The department is stretched thin, and the investigation into the Cottonmouth Club (and the criminal organization operating there) is collapsing. Not to mention—in North and Shaw’s opinion, anyway—they’re the best detectives around.

The Plot Thickens
Revisado: 06-13-24
There's never a dull moment with the dynamic duo producing absolute clownery for the forced enjoyment of anyone in the vacinity. Just when you think you know what's going, you do but you don't. There's always something more. Also to he able to thrown in that much character development when dealing with entire cast of main characters is a feat to be admired.

Historia
Every victory comes at a cost. The trail has gone cold. For months now, Emery Hazard and John-Henry Somerset have been trying to find something—anything—that might help them uncover the truth about the criminal organization operating out of the Cottonmouth Club. But every lead has turned out to be a dead end, and every step forward has cost them two steps back. Until, one night, John-Henry is arrested for a terrible crime.

Perfect Ending
Revisado: 06-13-24
What a way to end an absolute banger of a series *insert applause here*. Seriously so many good laughs and plenty of emotional damage, but in a good way. As always Tristan James knocks the narration out of the park.

Historia
I first saw the Folk when I was a little boy, when they started appearing in my garden, with their unnatural, cruel beauty and honeyed words and veiled taunts. I grew up with big green eyes watching me from the forest. Whispers from the trees. Shimmering skin darting between the bushes. Black creatures always lurking in the shadows. While they were here, I thought nothing of them. It wasn’t until they were gone that I realise it wasn’t…normal. But it isn’t until I’m twenty-one, when my life is in ruins, that they come back to take me away.

A Good Time
Revisado: 05-08-18
Wow. I honestly had no idea what I was getting into because this was just a random reccommendation from a friend of a friend.
The pacing was pretty good considering how long of a book this is. The story is definitely something else but for what it was it made sense.
If you like high fantasy and endless dick jokes, and a bunch of sassy and mostly gay characters, then this is the book for you. I could not stop laughing during the first 6 chapters, and the fun continued far longer after that.
The narrator did an impeccable job. Every character had their unique voice and it was quite the enjoyable listen.

Historia
Rescued from slavers, healer novice Jaime Buchanan finds himself alone and free in Pyrderi, a kingdom of magic, mythical creatures, and a culture as open and kind as his homeland was cruel and close-minded. Despite his rescue, Jaime is not left without scars, both mental and physical. Traumatized by his experience and hiding his gift, Jaime struggles to earn his place in the kitchens of Angharad Palace, the heart of Taliesin City. His former life as a student of the healing arts leaves him at a disadvantage in the kitchens, and his damaged state is becoming more apparent by the day.

Pure Fluff
Revisado: 05-07-18
This was exactly what I wanted and all the fluff I ever needed in the world.
Based on the description I was expecting some kind of adventure or action, which is not at all what this book is about. It's about about two very different but equally pure men falling in love as our main character, Jaime, recovers from his recent traumatic past. It's a short book, so the romance seemed a little rushed, but overall it was a great read if you're into a soft, easy love story with some actual magic involved.
