Should have stopped at book one.
Revisado: 07-12-23
The second book follows Wade in the aftermath of winning. He wallows in the oasis while the rest of the characters from book one proactively try to help the planet. I found him unlikable and the plot with with a "true" AI version of anorak to be very unoriginal. I loved the first book it makes me sad that the second book is just not great.

Tylene McClaine, black sheep of the McClaine Half Moon Hollow werewolf pack, has spent a lifetime blocking out the criticisms of her boisterous pack. They say she’s too bookish, too sarcastic, and worst of all, too picky when it comes to finding a nice werewolf boy and settling down. But when she meets vampire and Half Moon Hollow music teacher Alex Bonfils, Tylene starts to wonder if she could create the life she’s always wanted.

If I didn’t already believe in the law of attraction The arrogance of the author would’ve made me run away screaming.
Revisado: 09-04-20
I am a person who just loves to research. I love to listen to hundreds of different topics and I’ve listened to several different books under this topic and actually already believed in the law of attraction before I came across this book. I wondered what his perspective was out of honestly curiosity not a need to find the law of attraction, a need to further my understanding of it or whatever the author deems that people should want this book for. The way the book was written and unfortunately read is like a bad infomercial. He kept touting that this is the only book you’ll ever need about the law of attraction and how his methods are proven to work and you just need to do them and how this is the best book you will ever find etc. etc. page after page chapter after chapter. Sure there are useful things in the book but the arrogance of the author truly made this book hard to listen to. I wanted to just turn it off like I would if a bad Infomercial came on my television. I do not recommend it. I recommend any other book on this topic over this one. As much as I know that his methods can work and that he has great ideas his arrogance could not be over looked.

Historia
At 22, Cheryl Strayed thought she had lost everything. In the wake of her mother's death, her family scattered and her own marriage was soon destroyed. Four years later, with nothing more to lose, she made the most impulsive decision of her life: to hike the Pacific Crest Trail from the Mojave Desert through California and Oregon to Washington State - and to do it alone. She had no experience as a long-distance hiker, and the trail was little more than “an idea, vague and outlandish and full of promise.” But it was a promise of piecing back together a life that had come undone.

I listen to this book when the movie first came out honestly just because I wanted to see what was different but I truly do love this book it is about a young woman trying to find herself after losing her mother the adventure is her own and the retelling is so beautifully done. I love Bernadette Dunne and she voices Cheryl strayed so beautifully.

Historia
Six days ago, astronaut Mark Watney became one of the first people to walk on Mars. Now, he's sure he'll be the first person to die there. After a dust storm nearly kills him and forces his crew to evacuate while thinking him dead, Mark finds himself stranded and completely alone with no way to even signal Earth that he's alive - and even if he could get word out, his supplies would be gone long before a rescue could arrive. Chances are, though, he won't have time to starve to death. The damaged machinery, unforgiving environment, or plainold "human error" are much more likely to kill him first.

Truly love Elton's telling of his life
Revisado: 10-17-19
This book is beautifully written and truly honest. Elton relives his greatest, saddest, and most vulnerable moments. He admits to his faults and some of his outrageous actions and yet shows how all those actions has made him who he is today in such an a lovely and inspiring way. The narrator Taron did a beautiful job conveying Elton’s spirit and English wit. I truly recommend this book to anyone.

Truely Funny!!!
Revisado: 05-29-13
I have Loved Every Molly Harper book and this one is no exception. I have to say I laughed more from this book than any other Molly book and that is saying something.
It was nice that the "Jane Jameson cast" was featured and Nola was truly refreshing. Nola is sent to the Hollow for 4 objects and after meeting Jane and the gang she sets out in search of them. Of course the funny mishaps and corky characters I have come to expect for a Molly book comes across strong and the new characters she features have there own voice. The book moves along every quickly and sadly for me, It's quick read means I'm now finished with it.
I was at first weird-ed out that Amanda Ronconi has an accent for Nola and carries it through the whole book but after 5 minutes in to the book it felt right. I have to say that Amanda is always great but she out did herself with all the accents. I know that she doesn't have a true Boston/Irish accent but then again what would that sound like? they are so at odds with each other. But the accent she does use is very distinct and set Nola apart from any other character that Amanda has done.
