I’m just a regular ole white guy who doesn’t agree with Leslie much politically but who gives a shit. This book was incredible and more so bc of her narrating it. She has such emotion and humor and was completely raw. It’s long but it never felt long. I didn’t want it to end. I’ve never written a review and probably won’t again but please buy this book. It’s amazing.

Married with Children will always hold a special place in my
Heart. It’s something I bonded over with my father. This immediately made me want to rewatch the show and I didn’t want it to end. Praying for one day to get a married with grandchildren revival or even the animated show.

Excellent Book,Phenomenal Narrator MINUS one thing

The book is incredible, well researched, very entertaining.
The narrator is just as good. Great voice, flow, etc. Would love for him to narrate every book on audible BUT the one exception is the numerous missed pronunciation of countless names. At first I laughed but it kept happening, over and over and for some reason it seemed like the flubs were on names he said the most.

Someone absolutely should’ve caught these errors. If fixed it would be a flawless performance.

An inspiration, excellent role model, redemption!

If you’re a fan of other public navy seals such as Jocko Willink, David Goggins, etc. you will thoroughly enjoy Remi’s book. I had never heard of Remi, randomly stumbled on this and bought it. I have zero regrets.
Remi’s story is honesty quite crazy. From almost royalty in Nigeria, to a street hustler/criminal in the Bronx, to Navy Seal? Can’t imagine many people have a story that’s covered so much in their life.
I love the fact that Remi narrated the book himself. I sometimes would sit in the driveway or drive the long way just to hear more of the book. Transformed is the perfect title for his story and he is the epitome of uncommon amongst uncommon.
Already have started it a second time, I promise you won’t regret checking it out!

Goggins is one of a kind. There is no one better at helping you understand how to maximize your potential, how to not limit yourself, how to get and stay hard. I will read/listen to anything involving Goggins and have been waiting for this book since it was announced.
If you’ve heard/read about “Living with a Seal” David Goggins is the unnamed Navy Seal in that book. Now you can finally hear his full story.
Get this without thinking twice.
