Definitely worth a listen!

I wasn’t sure what to expect with this story, but I wasn’t disappointed. It’s an interesting perspective on how “the end” may come about and the struggles that come along with it. My only... concern(?) initially was the narrator. But that disappeared not long after. Her voice as the various characters grew on me as the story progressed. Looking forward to a possible sequel as well!

I really enjoyed this book, just as I enjoyed the preceding books, and it was nice to hear some of the backstories of a few other characters before they joined up with Adrian. And then there's the NVC...when they were re-introduced I remember thinking, "oh, THESE guys...". So once again, Adrian is in a spot where he needs to do what's best for everyone. Overall, another great story with great narration. Looking forward to book 10!

What a great compilation!

Another phenomenal book that tells more stories that take place at the same time as Adrian's. Some of these directly affect him, while others simply stand alone. Although each story in itself is great, I would highly recommend reading the complete AUD series first.

Adrian's world continues to grow.

I really enjoyed hearing more about the team that assisted Kevin in London. Rather than just being introduced to names, you get to experience their character as well, in addition to people that they interact with. As a bonus, you get introduced to the Elmoryn series. I didn't have any experience with this series before but after hearing the chapter included as a bonus, I'm looking forward to picking up the first book!

Like bonus features for AUD

I wasn't sure what to expect when I downloaded this but am really glad I did! The stories were all great with very different points of view. However, I would recommend reading the AUD series first so you don't spoil any of the details.

Still hooked!

After several books into the series I'm still hooked and looking forward to the next! It doesn't matter if a major plot line has been resolved or if it is just a side-story, the next one has already grabbed my interest. Fortunately, since there are still more books in the series I don't have to choose between finding out what's going to happen in the current story and what adventure is on the horizon!

Good things come in threes!

This is one of those stories where you can't wait to see how it ends, but you wish the story would go on because of how attached you get to the characters. Well, with the boxed set, you get to have your cake and eat it, too! I enjoyed every bit of the story and the narration made it just that much better. The voices helped to build a mental picture of what the characters look like and made me look forward to hearing them speak again. And one of the benefits of having the first three books all together is that when you're done with the first, you can just keep going. Which is perfect for those long car rides to work because you don't have to wait until you get somewhere to download the next book, you just keep on driving and enjoying the story.

I had already read this first book some time ago but since using Audible I decided to start the series over... wow! The narrator did a fantastic job and you can easily tell who is speaking at any given time. The story is more "told" rather than "read". Overall I'm very pleased and looking forward to downloading the next book momentarily!
