Great story, ruined by unnecessary metaphors.
Revisado: 11-04-23
Don’t get me wrong, guy is a genius but this story was made cringe by sheer number and frequency of unnecessary metaphors.
I had to stop half way. Not sure if it was an artistic choice, or a way to fill out the book but ultimately the amount of “not getting to the point” made it unlistenable.

Good info - Too much fluff
Revisado: 01-18-23
While this is a classic, If you want a long winded novel with great nuggets in it, this is a good listen.
If you loath books that belabor points and spend too much time trying to tell cute stories, I’d pass on this version and try to find a summary somewhere.

Historia
Do you remember the class in high school where they taught you how to find, interview, and hire great employees? Or was it in college? What class was it again? Oh yeah, no one teaches you how to hire. On top of that, the only books on hiring I could find were written for large businesses with thousands of employees about hiring executives. This audiobook is for 90 percent of small business owners out there wanting to hire 1-20 employees. You can hire high achievers and let your competitors have low achievers.

Absolute hot garbage. Don’t bother.

Absolute hot garbage. Don’t bother.
Revisado: 11-16-22
Super high level with little to no useful or practical advice. The automated process chapter talks about anything but.
Not worth your time or your credit.
