Historia
Tim Kennedy has a problem; he only feels alive right before he’s about to die. Kennedy, a Green Beret, decorated Army sniper, and UFC headliner, has tackled a bull with his bare hands, jumped out of airplanes, dove to the depths of the ocean, and traveled the world hunting poachers, human traffickers, and the Taliban. But he’s also the same man who got kicked out of the police department, fire department, and as an EMT, before getting two women pregnant four days apart, and finally, been beaten up by his Special Forces colleagues.

This is one of the best books I’ve ever read! This man is a hero, a fighter, patriot and is an absolute LEGEND. What an incredible story of his life, the descriptions are excellent, as told by him. Highly recommended this book!!

Same ole same ole
Revisado: 05-07-15
What would have made Gathering Prey better?
Not portraying Letty like a helpless child.
Would you be willing to try another book from John Sandford? Why or why not?
I've read all of the Davenport books and the Flowers, I've got too much invested to stop now. I believe that I'll take the next ones in print, and read them, in print, old school way!
Would you listen to another book narrated by Richard Ferrone?
He's very hard to listen too. I am not fond of how he does the females.
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Gathering Prey?
I'd cut the wimpy parts that Letty had to endure, and I'd well change the death of someone…it'd be a spoiler if I said !!!
Any additional comments?

A moving gentle story..
Revisado: 05-07-15
What did you love best about Izzy and Lenore?
Knowing that they are real.
What other book might you compare Izzy and Lenore to and why?
I'm not sure haven't read many books like this one.
What about Tom Stechschulte’s performance did you like?
All of it - he is/was beautifully suited to narrate this.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
If I had not been driving 99% of the time I was listening, then no. I would have finished though.
Any additional comments?
Why is there not a picture of Izzy on the cover, seems he did far more for others than Lenore did in her six months of existence during this book. ( not a spoiler, neither died in this book)

Predictable story...
Revisado: 09-07-14
What disappointed you about Chilled?
It was very predictable.
Has Chilled turned you off from other books in this genre?
No, they are an easy listen, like a filler, better if they are on sale for sure.
What didn’t you like about Emily Sutton-Smith’s performance?
Too many men in this story for one voice of a woman.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Irritated that they didn't try and get down the mountain with more urgency.

Historia
Detective Tess McCrae investigates a grisly crime scene in the ghost town of Credo, Arizona. The evidence suggests a cartel drug hit. But Tess, with a nearly faultless photographic memory, sees what others might miss: This is no drug killing. Someone went to gruesome lengths to cover their tracks. The killer’s trail leads from Tucson to California - from anti-government squatters to the heights of wealthy society. As Tess follows the trail of gore and betrayal, perfect and indelible in her memory, she uncovers far more than one man’s murder and solves much more than one isolated crime.
