Liked the success storyline of the good guy. I mean really good guy. in today's story telling authors want the main character to be evil in some way...miss this kind of approach.

Good Book, Not Great Book

First I want to say this was a good book but not Nebula Award level. it just doesn't stand up to Enders Game or Hominids( for example). Chapter 1 thru 17 are not paced well and basically used to define things and facts that come into play later...but could have been done in 3 chapters. Chapter 18 thru close to end make a great book then a predictable miracle happens without much intrigue or fun/mystery or anything to really draw me in to a great finale. Good book...not great book. Also be prepared for fashion show descriptions for every character.
