A fun little listen

I think John Lithgow is one of the best, so this was a must-listen for me. It was a fun radio drama with suitable music and just enough sound effects to enhance the mood instead of distracting me. I found it easy to follow, which isn't always the case with casts, and I thought it struck just the right balance between predictability and surprise.

Realistic and funny

I really liked how realistic this whole story was. Who among us hasn’t had these same feelings and disagreements? The MC had a nice arc and she was totally relatable. I would have liked to hear more of Ryan’s story. He came across a bit poorly because we didn’t get too much from his perspective. If his character would have been more protected I would give the story 5/5 stars. The side characters were great fun and interesting on their own. The dialogue was natural and believable as well. I’ll definitely watch for more from this author and narrator. I would recommend this story to anyone who likes a romance that’s a little deeper than the common romantic comedy.

Great narration

I really liked the narration. This is short and fast-paced. The story was interesting to me; however, I found the first person plural pronoun use (or whatever it’s called when we is used instead of I) offputting and distracting. Even though the characters aren’t perfect, I was still invested. I enjoyed the end.

I liked the characters and found them to be believable. The pacing and plot were excellent. This was a well-told story Id recommend to anyone who likes a twisty tale. The narration was professional and nicely performed.

There’s more to every story

I first heard of Billy Jensen in association with I’ll be Gone in the Dark and I was eager to hear more about his story. I would recommend this book to any murderino or true crime enthusiast as well as anyone interested in becoming a victim advocate or citizen sleuth. The stories were dark, as promised, but there’s a lot of hope there too. This book definitely kept my interest. I don’t always love when writers try their hand at narrating; however, Billy Jensen’s voice was lovely and the recording was professional so it was perfect.

A captivating listen

The Summer Nanny: An Emerald City Thriller Novella was just dark enough to hold my attention with taking me too low.
This novella had some great character development. I totally bought in. Its a quick listen with a face pace. Veronica Pace did an excellent job narrating. It’s a nice escape and perfect quarantine listen.

This is a very good book but I was somewhat discouraged when I found out that the narrator had changed although this reader did a very good job I had grow attached to the narrator for the 1st book. If you know the story of vampire academy this book makes it so much better and I am so exited that there are more to come!

This is a very good and well written book! Me as a 13 year old girl loved it. It is surprising and funny as I can compare myself to the main character Rosemary. It is perfect all but on a 1 or 2 people the narrator makes the voice of the character a little annoying, but all in all fantastic!
