Brilliant! my favorite series

NSS weaves one hell of a tale. The idea of mankind's remnants living in the skies over an apocalyptic wasteland is a bleak portrayal of a very possible future scenario and I love the hell out of it!
I've been a huge RC Bray fan for many years now and I couldn't imagine anyone else narrating this series. His inflection and pacing are perfect. the performance flawless.
I cannot recommend this book or series enough!

The ending of this series just leaves you in awe. No spoilers here, but if you're a fan of the series, this book is gonna pull at your heartstrings a bit! Great performance by Salzman, too.

Great story! Poor narration.

Who Goes There? by John W. Campbell is an amazing story, taught with suspense and written to perfection with every word on page. The narration, on the other hand, was lackluster - barely able to hold my attention. The forward by William Nolan was pointless. All the man did was toot his own horn about how his take on the story was so much more superior than anyone else's. Very disappointed.

He presents a delightful collection of memories that are truly life lessons even today! This is such a wonderful detour from all of the seriousness in other books. Bill Stokes' words a magic for the soul. I don't remember the last time I've listened to a book and smiled from start to finish.
The narration was absolutely phenomenal. Everyone did a great job and I am having a very hard time trying to single out if one was better than another... so, I'm not going to!
My advice to anyone is to just get it. If you're looking at this right now, wondering if you should buy it, stop thinking and just get it. This will be your best audiobook investment this year. It's rare when you find a book like this. Bill Stokes is a master of words and they are spoken by the masters of narration.
It doesn't get any better than this.

What an incredible experience! Terrific acting, especially Laurel Lefkow and Rutger Hauer. Laurel's voice was spot on for Ripley, to the point that you actually have to remind yourself that it isn't Sigourney Weaver.
Great story. A perfect addition to the Alien mythos. Cannot recommend this enough.
