We live in a world of great and increasing complexity, where even the most expert professionals struggle to master the tasks they face. Longer training, ever more advanced technologies - neither seems to prevent grievous errors. But in a hopeful turn, acclaimed surgeon and writer Atul Gawande finds a remedy in the humblest and simplest of techniques: the checklist.

Where are the tools?
Revisado: 02-17-25
A lot of storytelling - too much. Waited for the “here’s how to and when” section on practical and useful tools but alas it never arrived

Overall very useful and to the point
Revisado: 09-25-23
Surprised to see how short it was overall compared to other audiobooks but it was still very useful. Appreciated the expounding in a genuine way, like a conversation, in certain areas beyond what was in the book
Audio was tough to get used to at first as it sounded like it was coming from a big empty room. Also expected a pdf with the list of questions and to hear the suggestion that I should also buy the paperback to get them was disappointing.
Still a great resource and one that I’ll no doubt turn to regularly in my coaching practice.
