Great storyline with an unexpected and twisted ending I never saw coming. I'm excited to read another Harlan Coben, to see if he can do it again.

Historia
With indifferent parents, Iona Sheehan grew up craving devotion and acceptance. From her maternal grandmother, she learned where to find both: a land of lush forests, dazzling lakes, and centuries-old legends. Ireland. County Mayo, to be exact. Where her ancestors’ blood and magic have flowed through generations - and where her destiny awaits.

Over animated narration was extremely distracting.
Revisado: 02-18-23
Some books are meant to be read and not to have it read to you. By attempting to act out the character's emotions, it took away from the story line.
My many years reading #noraroberts has been tarnished in just over 5 hrs of listening.

Love this book!
Revisado: 06-22-22
I read the reviews before buying this book and as the reviews claimed there are many characters to follow and the story line is jumbled BUT I read it twice to get the full story straight and loved it immensely! There will be more stories by this author in my library.

Historia
On one of the city's hottest nights, New York Police Lieutenant Eve Dallas is sent to Central Park - and into a hellish new investigation. The victim is found on the rocks, just above the still, dark water of The Lake in the park. Around her neck is a single red ribbon. Her hands are posed, as if in prayer. But it is the eyes - removed with such precision, as if done by the careful hand of a surgeon - that have Dallas most alarmed.

Historia
Lo Blacklock, a journalist who writes for a travel magazine, has just been given the assignment of a lifetime: a week on a luxury cruise with only a handful of cabins. The sky is clear, the waters calm, and the veneered, select guests jovial as the exclusive cruise ship, the Aurora, begins her voyage in the picturesque North Sea. At first Lo's stay is nothing but pleasant: The cabins are plush, the dinner parties are sparkling, and the guests are elegant. But as the week wears on, frigid winds whip the deck, and gray skies fall.

Justine Eyre does an exceptional job! Too many times the performance of the narrator can ruin a book, but she (Justine Eyre) brings this story to life!

Historia
Determined to find out what happened to her former deputy chief, Jack Fielding, murdered six months earlier, Kay Scarpetta travels to the Georgia Prison for Women, where an inmate has information not only on Fielding, but also on a string of grisly killings. The murder of an Atlanta family years ago, a young woman on death row, and the inexplicable deaths of homeless people as far away as California seem unrelated. But Scarpetta discovers connections that compel her to conclude that what she thought ended with Fielding's death and an attempt on her own life is only the beginning....
