I really admire this series
Revisado: 11-28-18
The subjects brought to light in each book of the series are quite interesting and though my beliefs are not mirrored by the books I still am captivated by both the scientific and the religious aspects. It is a journey of introspection and intelligence that you cannot fully appreciate if you begin expecting perfection. read it for the story and I feel that you will enjoy each installment in this very well written series.

Historia
Death is no stranger to Almagre, a rough boomtown in which the local cemetery, Boot Hill, is almost as crowded as the saloons. Almagre had sprung up in just under two years with a silver strike, and in that short time, it had buried three town marshals. Into this wild and bloody town rides Texas Ranger Chick Bowdrie, trailing a Pecos bank robber who left two men dead.

I love Chick Bowdrie
Revisado: 11-21-18
Louis L'Amour is by far my favourite author and the Chick Bowdrie Series is #2 in my top 3 series of his. The details that he places in these stories is unparalleled and it is a shame that he is no longer with us. If you are an up and coming writer or you just want a good story Louis L'Amour is the way to go. As well he didn't write only westerns one of his best novels was The Walking Drum and it was set in Europe it is my favourite book of his and that is in part because he did so well with a subject that was not his normal focus and its depth enthralled me I would suggest his work any and all readers hope you love it as I do.
