first book in a series that keeps getting better

I found the first half of this book incredibly enjoyable and worth my time. things start to ramp up and the plot complicates in a way that rocketed the book up to my favorite. it's been too many years since I read this book and haven't reviewed. I really can't Express how good of a book this is and how it's my least favorite and it's entire series over 15 plus books. it's the story and characters that keep on giving definitely worth the read. if it doesn't while you within the first couple pages then trust the awesome and keep reading it just keeps getting better.

biggest and best clif hangar

Was sad when the series was over. Was skeptical when the announcement for a continuation was made. somehow the hype continues with each book on this new adventure with the mery band of pirates. This book ends leaving me with by far the biggest anticipation for the next book I've ever felt for any series. Letsss gooooo!

Generally satisfying ending in the last book didn't think Craig would continue the series. I was very happily wrong and very happily surprised that yet another great book. I wouldn't say it's the best one in the series but it's definitely the top three and there's a lot of books in this series. highly recommend picking up all the other ones just so you can enjoy this and the other best books in the series. Honestly they're all great and every book in the series feels like it continuously gets better and better. There are days worth of hours to listen and enjoy the entire series. The novella and side books covering the adventures of the Mavericks is also a great read.

loved this book. it was similar breath of fresh air for a sci-fi novel based in hard science fiction setting. if you are a fan of other sci-fi books by this author you should keep an eye on Aces. it fills the hole after finishing expeditionary force series

the best way to start a spin-off series.

I've been aware about the Maverick series as I have slowly climbed up the ladder books in this series. I was very skeptical but with the tie in books i skipped, I very much regretted my skepticism. I am very much excited to see the Mavericks and the Ex-Force
