Historia
Shari Franke’s childhood was a constant battle for survival. Her mother, Ruby Franke, enforced a severe moral code while maintaining a façade of a picture-perfect family for their wildly popular YouTube channel 8 Passengers, which documented the day-to-day life of raising six children for a staggering 2.5 million subscribers. But a darker truth lurked beneath the surface—Ruby’s wholesome online persona masked a more tyrannical parenting style than anyone could have imagined.

Story of Strength and Courage
Revisado: 02-05-25
What strength and courage this incredible young woman has! To be able to recognize what her mother was doing at such a young age is just amazing! She not just recognized it, but fought for her siblings!

Historia
1860: As the clash between the states rolls slowly to a boil, Elizabeth Packard, housewife and mother of six, is facing her own battle. The enemy sits across the table and sleeps in the next room. Her husband of 21 years is plotting against her because he feels increasingly threatened - by Elizabeth’s intellect, independence, and unwillingness to stifle her own thoughts. So Theophilus makes a plan to put his wife back in her place. One summer morning, he has her committed to an insane asylum.

The incredible fortitude and strength of Elizabeth.
Revisado: 01-03-25
It was a wonderful book until, the epilog. I did not know of this incredible story until I can across this book. I envy the strength of Elizabeth and the many other women who endured the horrible and injustice treatment of women. The author did an amazing job in her research and telling this story.

I love the continuation of the story line with another wife from the same "husband."
